Good Evening from little ol' East Texas(:

So the whole banning myself from the kindle store didn't work out. :D I broke guys. I bought Folding Hearts by Jennifer Foor. I've read Letting Go (the first book in the Mitchell Family Series) and it was nothing short of breath taking! The drama, the lies, the ANGST! I loved every heart stopping moment. It's a pretty cheap book for all those broke peeps like me out there! I just started Folding Hearts and so far what I've read has grabbed my attention. I'll probably be finished pretty soon, within the next two days at least. I would probably finish it tonight, but my Mid-term is this Thursday. I. MUST. STUDY. So I guess I'll leave this video as my parting gift.(: It tells a little about my music choices and how my books have played into those choices. If I get any request, I'll post a couple playlists.

P.S. This was my first video, and I was sorta nervous! ha! So bear with me, I'm learning as I go. (:

AVOIDING COMMITMENT by K. A. Linde

Buenas Tardes Mundo!

(My Spanish teacher would be so proud!(: ) For those of you who haven't guessed, I'm taking Spanish 101 this semester. Sadly, I had to use Google to help me spell that right! Haha! Google knows everything guys, EVERYTHING. Sorry, sorry. I know that I just fell down the rabbit hole. Now back to the topic I really got on here to discuss! So I am currently re-reading Avoiding Commitment by K. A. Linde. Now I understand that it is truly sad that I have read that book at least four times, but I'm low on cash dang it! That combined with the fact that mid-terms are this week, I have banned myself from the kindle store. HOWEVER, I figured I might as well make on of my favorite books of all time my first review. Good idea right? I thought so too. (:

(Such yummy cover art(; )

I would recommend this book to everyone. I mean literally EVERYONE. Even to my mom, and shes a down south, no non-sense, bible carrying, jesus lovin missionary baptist guys. Yup, its that dang good! However, if you have a heart condition this book may be hazardous to your health. Be prepared for "OH HELL NO's" & "I KNOW SHE JUST DIDN'T's"! This book is a roller coaster of crazy! But if your anything like me, crazy is right up your angst ridden alley! I hate to give any spoilers but I'll give you a synopsis.

Jack and Lexi never had a typical relationship. After 2 years without speaking, she receives a phone call that changes everything. He unexpectedly asks her to convince the new girl, Bekah, that he’s ready to commit. Jack is calling now after everything they had been through because there is another woman. She can’t believe it. Follow Lexi in this heart wrenching drama as she relives her past relationship, or lack thereof, with Jack, and not just in her own mind, but to his fiance-to-be. Throw in Bekah’s hot brother who always seems to be in the right place at the right time, a past with more secrets to unravel than you can even imagine, and you get a recipe for disaster. Find out what happens to Lexi as she travels to Atlanta to get the closure she so desperately desires from Jack, and how the bumps of life seem to keep getting in the way.

Ohhh yeahhhh. This book goes there! In FACT! It goes all the way there and comes back! Anyways, I feel like I need to give you a run down of the characters...

Alexa (Lexi) - Lexi is the idea woman. SERIOUSLY. She is all sex appeal and brains. When K. A. Linde created her, she went all out. I have a love hate relationship with Lexi. One moment I was wanting to strangle her and the next I was wanting to be her best friend! She's really been through the ringer and I have respect for her because she just keeps fighting. However, there are points where I'm just wondering what the hell is going through her head! I love her strength but damn that girl needs to get it together!

Jack - He is probably the biggest DOUCHE BAG I have ever had the pleasure of ever reading about. He is the scum of the earth cleverly disguised in a bad ass suit and killer hair. Yet, he still makes me swoon through out the book! I mean that man made my knees weak and I pray that I never have the misfortune to meet a Jack Howard in my life. I just don't have faith in my ability to resist the bad boy draw all rapped up in that sexy package. I really hope that Bekah ends up screwing him over so he can get a taste of his own medicine. Him and his stupid blue eyes need to be knocked off his high horse.

Ramsey - oh Ramsey, Ramsey, Ramsey. I am delightfully apart of your peppermint posse my dear. (: You and your country club manners rock my world. The muscles, the i spend all day at the beach hair, the million watt smile, it all adds up to over six foot of grade A man candy. SWOON ladies, SWOON. I sure as hell did(; I really want Lexi to give it a go with my main man here! She's a refreshing gust of nice guy. She really needs a change of scene after six years worth of dumb ass.

Bekah - I hate you. She is the worst kind of bitch; a smart bitch. Lexi should have slapped that perfect little smirk off of your fake little face. Jack will never love you. Get over yourself.

Chyna - You are the best friend a girl could ask for. I love her no non-sense attitude and the fact that she isn't scared to tell it as it is. She is probably the funniest character in the book! She had me laughing almost every time she came into the dialogue. She didn't have that big of a part but hopefully book 2 will give her more action.

This book was great and honestly I still read it and find myself just as involved at the first time through! K. A. Linde has a way of writing where you literally find yourself emotionally involved with her books. It's amazing. If your a fan of Thoughtless & Effortless and Beautiful Disaster I BEG of you to read this! You won't be sorry.

Well I'm outa here guys! My astronomy book is calling my name. :/

About MEE!

Hello World!

I guess this would be the part where I introduce myself. My name is Cheyenne but everyone calls me Sky or Chey. I live in a tiny town in Texas, and yes I do happen to have that ol' southern drawl! (; At the moment I am an broke little college student who slaves away at a part time job that barely pays the bills. Everyone's gotta pay their dues in life, right? I created this blog because my boyfriend and best friend begged me to please find someone else to vividly describe my many book conquests to. I figured my computer would work as a pretty nonjudgmental party. (: Some favorite authors? K. A. Linde, S. C. Stephens, Jennifer Armentrout, Ellen Hopkins. To be honest I go through crazy phases! One month I'm buried under paranormal romance, the next I'm under a mountain of Contemporary with a focus on Addicts. You can say I'm hormonal. hah(: I'm new at this and I do love some advice if your willing to give it!
Peace, Love & Pineapples!
